My life isn't perfect, but it was better than what it used to be.

Take a piece of paper & draw a line in the middle. On one side, write "things i've done that have hurt people" & on the other "things that people have done that hurt me." It'll be hard because you will have to admit to yourself that you are doing these things. Sometimes, that's hard for us--to admit we've done something wrong. You'll see things that you repeatedly do & you need to try and change those things. You'll learn to forgive and ask for forgiveness. When forgiveness happens, change happens. You'll have peace in your heart, peace in your home, and when there's peace in your homes, it'll spread to those around you. You will then look back and say, "My life isn't perfect, but it was better than what it used to be."

That's what I got from the homily this past Sunday. I realized I need to work on some things in my life. Here's to more blogging? I hope so.
